Job descriptionThe SSC Procurement Department is comprised of multiple work streams within Procurement such as Indirect Buying, Purchasing & SQD, Supply & Market Analytics, and Digitalization & Processes. This role is under the Purchasing & SQD team which collaborates closely with the Global and Regional Procurement organizations on purchasing activities (i.e. source-to-contract activities, spend management, and supplier negotiation) and supplier & quality development (SQD).
SSC Procurement Purchasing & SQD
You shall be accountable to support the Purchasing & SQD Team in the end-to-end purchasing process which covers requirement definition, supplier selection negotiation, and contracting, as well as all other relevant steps within the full process
Ensure adherence to KPIs set by Global Procurement
Communication with internal and external stakeholders
Support our Transport Functional Lead on various tasks such as rates validation, uploading of master rate sheets from strategic partners LSPs, reporting documentation handling and maintenance, etc
Ensure adherence to KPIs set by Global Sourcing regarding safety, quality, cost, delivery, innovation and sustainability
An Engineering graduate or relevant business degree
6+ years up of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement functions
Experience with selection, qualification, negotiation and contracting with suppliers
Hands-on experience in contract negotiation
Qualified experience in negotiating with global suppliers
Experience in SAP or Ariba P2P process
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Qualified English written and verbal communication skills and able to speak with conviction
Highly self-motivated, hard-working work ethic, keen attention to detail and high-quality customer service orientation
