  • Evaluates the training budget proposal of the different functional Groups prioritizing learning initiatives that are in support of the strategic imperatives of the company; mandatory/regulatory programs; programs aimed at addressing performance gaps; and developing present and future leaders.
  • Provide business expertise to map out the solution and roadmap to be implemented for the establishment of an Enterprise Resource Planning System for HR.
  • Designs the program and oversees the implementation of major company learning initiatives including but not limited to the Leaders Assembly, Executive Learning Sessions and the Lopez Learning Synergy Summit.
  • Sources and evaluates resource speakers, training providers and event organizers for the company’s major learning initiatives.
  • Curates the content for the Learning Management Systems (LMS) in the company’s Human Capital Management System (LMS).
  • Designs, develops and rolls out initiatives geared towards accumulating content for the LMS.
  • Creates, develops and engages force multipliers (i.e., learning council, internal trainers pool) .
  • Oversees the design, development and implementation of management and leadership programs for the different talent segments (i.e., high potentials, critical talents, Mancom successors, and the Mancom).
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of all learning programs implemented including those attended by employees via publicly run conferences, trainings and seminars.
  • Provides governance on the learning and development function through the creation and updating and implementation of guidelines and standards, and by conducting compliance audits among the force multipliers (i.e., learning council, internal trainers pool).
  • Drives the achievement of Talent Management’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) particularly in the following areas:
  • trainings implemented versus planned
  • training budget variance
  • bench strength for licenced professionals
